Bio [Character Name] [Canon] Fate/Stay Night [Point Taken From] End of Anime [Age] Looks 15, really 30ish at time of death [Gender] female [Sexual Orientation] Hetero [Eye Color] Green [Hair Color] Light Blond [Height] 154cm (5'1") [Background] Her full (and true) name is Arthuria Pendragon (yes, she is King Arthur), the daughter of Uther Pendragon. Her father decided not to announce her birth OR gender to the people and instead entrusted her to the wizard Merlin. (this all sounds VERY familiar, right? XD ). After the death of her father, she removed the sword in the stone to become the true King of Britain. During her reign, Arthuria is tormented by feelings of guilt at not being a good enough king for her people, so she turns inside to kill her emotions, hoping to be the best King she can. After the loss of Excalibur's sheath, Avalon, she is mortally wounded by Mordred. She passes ridden with regret over her life. she dies with a wish to aquire a power; the power to right what she saw as her failed rule. Her spirit becomes a Servant, a legendary warrior that is summoned by a Magus to participate in the bloody "Holy Grail Wars" held every 10 years. The Magus-servant set fight with the others for the chance to obtain the Holy Grail and grant their wish. She is "Saber-class" and fights with a sword, hence why she is called "Saber." If any of the legendary warrior's names were to be exposed to the enemy, so would their weaknesses. Therefore, Saber does not use her true name and instead goes simply by Saber. After joining with Shirou in the newest HG war, she chooses to give up on her desire to change her past and instead accepts her rule and the events that transpired during it. She returns to the past, the moment of her death, to die in peace under a tree. But instead finds herself in another strange world. [Personality] Saber is really very nice, but she has chosen a path of Stoicism and coldness. She believes it to be the selflessness required of a King, but instead it distanced her from her people, and the ones that valued her the most. She is also focused on her goals, and acts in accordance with the most effective means to achieve them, regardless of whether it puts her in physical danger. She often has confrontations with her master, Shirou, because he wants to keep her safe, she wants to win. She is loyal to a T, both to her servants and those she serves. Her will is strong, but she is open to reason. She also has a natural curiosity for the strange (and cute) and often lets her cold mask falter when confronted with something new and unusual to her. Under all this, is a normal girl that just wants normal things. She expresses distress at her own physical appearance as "too muscular and manly" that no man would ever want to look at her. After she has gotten to know someone and become more comfortable with them, she lets her gentle, fragile side show a little more. [Specialties/Abilities] she's freaking King Arthur....with super powers! -Able to resist most forms of magic (only the most powerful mage can harm her) -Above average riding (horseback) ability -Wields the Heavenly sword Excalibur and the sheath of immortality (Avalon). As long as both are in her possession, she is unstoppable (she does NOT have the sheath, cause that isn't fair!) -when she doesn't have Excalibur (using it requires A LOT of mana) she uses the air around her to form an invisible blade. It is difficult to fight, because the length and width of the sword is hidden. [Affection] She is not affectionate at ALL until you get to know her better. She is open to giving little tiny bits of affection to people that get close. But she won't ever encourage such attentions, but if confronted with any she becomes uneasy and awkward (she is not used to dealing with such things) With [Fighting] Left on her own (without a master) she is free to do as she will, and thus, VERY effective in combat. She would fair very well, though against very strong opponents [Other stuff] There are SEVERAL different scenarios of the Fate series that involve different outcomes and, consequently, different Sabers.
